Cindy's Voice - Her Mission Springs Experience

To me Mission Springs is a place to relax, renew and refresh. I look forward each year to attending and anyone that hasn’t been to Mission Springs really needs to experience it at least once. Nothing is better than getting together with your sisters in Christ from all around the region for a very Spiritual weekend. In the years I have been attending Mission Springs we have had the best speakers. They all are different but each in their own way will strike a cord in something they say or how they say it.

Some years I’ll admit have been better than others. Some years I have come away with a more Spiritual experience than others but each year has always been enjoyable. San Lorenzo women usually have the most women in attendance. We have a wonderful party in someone’s room Saturday night after the planned festivities and have a great time laughing and sharing with our sisters.

This year the theme was Simple Gifts, Celebrating the Gifts we Give—to Ourselves, to Others, to the World. There are many workshops both in the morning and afternoon to choose from always lead by very knowledgeable people. I choose this year in the morning Spiritual Gifts and in the afternoon “the Bad Girls of the Bible”. Both workshops were very interesting.

The Worship center is a beautiful place to not only worship but to experience God’s beauty as the glass window faces Redwood trees and all the animals that live in the forest. Truly a beautiful place to be.

This is truly a great experience that everyone should have, so come and join us next year.
