Children's Ministry

We have revived Sunday School for the youngsters. We currently range in age from 5 to 12. We welcome God into our class of regulars, and we’ve also been blessed by recurring visitors. We would love you have your children join. We are blessed to have Debbie Sheets working with our children. She is an amazing, gifted memeber of our church family.

We call ourselves the Church Skitaroos (a.k.a The World Famour Skitaroos), and it’s always fun to have new friends in our group. During our first few sessions we talked about love. We were even invited to speak about that at the Hanging of the Greens festivities. As one of our young ones will tell you, “You can never have TOO MUCH love.” We shared our Jesus Loves Me song and sign language, too.

Our preferred method of bible study is to act out the stories and talk about what’s going on for the different characters. Our young ones have found a talent in spiritual drumming – we get so tickled when we’re all in synch and listening to the rhythm and talking to God. You’re never too young to learn about prayer and meditation.
